You'll receive one on one attention that will really speed you along toward meeting your goals. Students who take private violin/cello/strings lessons often improve more rapidly and develop confidence more quickly with intensive, individual instruction. Move from a beginner to full mastery of your chosen instrument. These lessons are geared toward your individual needs. 30 minute, 45 minute or one hour lessons are available. They can be intense or taught with an easy touch, depending on what you desire. If you want to croon like Sinatra, play piano like Alicia Keys or Van Cliburn, this is the program for you. Classical, Rock 'n Roll or even Country Western. All types and styles of music.

PRIVATE VIOLIN AND CELLO LESSONS begin with learning about the instrument and tuning. We teach a blended Suzuki and traditional approach in our violin lesson and cello lesson department. Students learn to make a beautiful sound on their instrument through listening and modeling the teacher, and also through home CDs, playing familiar folk songs. Also, beginning music reading is introduced so that our violin lesson and cello lesson students can become independent musicians, as a soloist or part of an ensemble or orchestra. Violin lesson and cello lesson students bring their correctly sized instrument to their lessons (fine tuners on the instruments are requested).

Our instructors are highly qualified and many have extensive performance experience. Most importantly, our instructors strive to relate their teaching to each individual student's learning style.

All Ages - Beginners to Advanced
Our current students range from 3 years old to many students in their 60's and 70's. We take care to teach what you want to learn so music is rewarding for students of all ages and levels.

Parent & Child Lessons - Together
Parent and child taking lessons on the same instument can both study with the same teacher at the same time. 45 minute lessons are suggested for this option. Since students progress at different rates, the teacher will recomend when individual lessons are right for you.

Professional Environment
There are many teachers that teach out of their homes. In between phone calls and domestic duties, they find time to give their students a lesson. This is not exactly the best place to learn a skill like playing a musical instrument. That's why taking lessons from a school that's well equipped, can offer a variety of programs, has front desk staff to answer calls and any questions you may have about your lessons has an obvious advantage for the serious music student.

Regularly Scheduled Weekly Lesson
People learn skills like golf or tennis or even playing a musical instrument through regular and consistent review from a professional. Even Tiger woods has an occasional tune up from a pro golf coach. The way you do something, or "form", is a big part of learning any coordinated physical activity. By having your own private lesson with a professional instructor, your form is consistently being checked. This prevents the development of bad habits that can cause all sorts of problems and sometimes take a long time to correct.
